Adding a function to the onload event#
Here is some code that can be used to add (not overwrite) the onload function of a webpage (you'll have to tab it out):
if ( typeof window.addEventListener != "undefined" )
window.addEventListener( "load", myInitFunction, false );
else if ( typeof window.attachEvent != "undefined" ) {
window.attachEvent( "onload", myInitFunction );
}
else {
if ( window.onload != null ) {
var oldOnload = window.onload;
window.onload = function ( e ) {
oldOnload( e );
myInitFunction();
};
}
else
window.onload = myInitFunction;
}
