Accessing DLLs stored in the GAC#

You can access the dlls by going to this undocumented folder:

C:\WINDOWS\ASSEMBLY\GAC_MSIL

If you go to C:\WINDOWS\ASSEMBLY\ it will not show you the GAC_MSIL folder, but rather a view of all DLLs that you can't copy.
