Markdown Monster is another markdown editor that appears to support pasting screen captures into body of documents. This was a feature that was lacking in most of the editors I tested last year.

Yup you can paste screen captures into the editor and the captures are saved to disk. You can use the built-in screen capture utility or – if you have SnagIt installed – use that to capture screens/forms directly from within Markdown Monster.
